Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a 65-year-old woman over her alleged involvement in supplying drugs to Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State, as security operations against insurgent networks intensify in the North-East.
According to military sources, the suspect was apprehended during an intelligence-led operation aimed at dismantling logistics and support channels sustaining terrorist activities in the region. Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman allegedly played a role in providing drugs believed to be used by insurgents to enhance endurance and morale during operations.
The arrest underscores the military’s renewed focus on targeting not only fighters but also individuals suspected of facilitating terrorism through logistics, supplies, and other forms of support.
Operation Hadin Kai reaffirmed its commitment to rooting out all collaborators aiding insurgent groups, while urging residents to continue providing timely and credible information to security agencies.
